  • Gathered papers or book-blocks(sections) are manually fed into the machine.
  • The gripper/fingers automatically carry the section further for stitching/sewing.
  • The length of book, no. of stitches and distance between stitches is to be saved once in 20 programs memory for Wire stitching.
  • The STITCHmaster makes a stitch at the exact location as set in the Touch Screen Panel on the machine.
  • Upto 24 stitches in one section (minimum distance between stitches: 20mm) can be achieved in this unique machine with superb quality stitch and long life.
  • For Thread Center Sewing, the thread is cut automatically at the end of each section.
  • The section is turned upside down by a Cylinder and fed into the Full Cover Pasting Station, where another Duplex board is glued and applied manually on top of the thread sewn section. Duplex to be pasted must be same length and width as that of the stitched/sewn section.
  • The squared book block is forwarded into the PRESTAR : Front Cutting Unit.
  • The book is folded further by FOLDmaster and forwarded to SQUARE for Edge Squaring, that shapes the book spine perfectly in 90 degrees even for 1000gsm, 320pages book.
  • The squared book block is fed into the PRESTAR : Front Cutting Unit.
  • Further, the book is carried to TapeMaster for Spine Taping of Binding Cloth Tape.
  • Tape in roll form, is glued and perfectly applied to the book spine.
  • The continuous tape is cut by an electronic cutter, to separate the books.
  • The delivered book does not need any manual touch or finishing.
  • The tape is maintained to be dry after application.
  • Then the book is fed into COPE for top/bottom trimming and separating. COPE is a programmable cutting machine that cuts the book with single knife while the book gets forwarded automatically. The cutting size for both cutting units can be set in the Touch Screen Panel. No need to shift knives individually, hence job changeover time for cutting unit is less than 1 minute. 17. Make ready time for the whole Line is 30-45 minutes for job changeover. 18. Any of these machines can be used offline as well as, can be turned on/off as needed.
