Gathered papers or book-blocks(sections) are manually fed into the machine.
The gripper/fingers automatically carry the section further for stitching/sewing.
The length of book, no. of stitches and distance between stitches is to be saved once in 20 programs memory for Wire stitching.
The STITCHmaster makes a stitch at the exact location as set in the Touch Screen Panel on the machine.
Upto 24 stitches in one section (minimum distance between stitches: 20mm) can be achieved in this unique machine with superb quality stitch and long life.

For Thread Center Sewing, the thread is cut automatically at the end of each section.
The section is turned upside down by a Cylinder and fed into the Full Cover Pasting Station, where another Duplex board is glued and applied manually on top of the thread sewn section. Duplex to be pasted must be same length and width as that of the stitched/sewn section.
The book is folded further by FOLDmaster and forwarded to SQUARE for Edge Squaring, that shapes the book spine perfectly in 90 degrees even for 1000gsm, 320pages book.
The squared book block is fed into the PRESTAR : Front Cutting Unit.

Feed individual Gathered papers or book-blocks(sections) into the machine in open form before folding.
The Gripper Jaw carries the sections further for stitching based on the program and makes correct stitch at the set location.
Enter a Program with length of book, number of stitches & Heads and distance between stitches in 20 programs memory.
You can achieve upto 24 stitches in one section (minimum distance between stitches: 20mm) in this unique machine with superb quality stitch and long life using Imported Stitcher Heads.
The stitched sections are forwarded to FOLDmaster : Book Folding Machine, that folds the book tight and exactly in the centre with multiple roller sets.
The same book is then edge squared with SQUARE : Online Edge Squaring Machine, that shapes the book edge perfectly in 90 degrees even for 1000gsm, 400pages double duplex titled books.
Further, the book is carried to the PRESTAR : Front Cutting Unit and then to COPE for top/bottom trimming and separating. COPE is a programmable cutting machine that cuts the book with single knife while the book gets forwarded automatically. The cutting size for both cutting units can be set in the Touch Screen Panel. No need to shift knives individually, hence job changeover time for cutting unit is less than 1 minute.
Make ready time for the whole Line is 10-15 minutes for job changeover.
